51³Ô¹ÏÍø

The business world felt the impact of a quiet revolution in 1956, when James Farr, Ph.D. introduced his psychological approach to leadership development. Generations of leaders have succeeded through the insights and life-changing principles of his program.

What is the Truist Leadership Institute?

The Truist Leadership Institute is a natural evolution of Farr’s world-class approach to leadership development, helping organizations create dynamic and effective leaders, increase employee retention, and improve the bottom line.

During the RMC Emerging Leaders Weekend, students participated in the Truist Leadership Institute, which aims to help attendees focus on self-awareness and leadership within the campus and local communities.

The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Partnership with Truist

Truist provides 51³Ô¹ÏÍø support and training as one of its campus partners. The highly interactive certification for college and university students, designed by Truist and taught by campus professionals, focuses on the self-awareness necessary to lead others more effectively. Students learn about the beliefs driving their leadership behaviors—both positive and negative. After completing the program, they’ll be equipped with practical tools and strategies for overcoming leadership shortcomings discovered during the sessions.

Training Opportunities on Campus

We invite student organizations, athletic teams, and academic departments to work with our staff to deliver this exciting training opportunity for students at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. Currently, all Leadership Fellows receive the Truist Leadership Training during Emerging Leaders Weekend.
